Latgales Mācību Centrs (LMC)

Latgale Training Centre (LMC) is a professional continuing education and vocational training institution in Latvia established on 2 November 1994. The company’s main office is located in Daugavpils at Saules Street 38, and it operates branch offices in several Latvian cities including Riga, Rēzekne, Jēkabpils, Preiļi, Ludza, Krāslava and Dagda. The training centre offers a wide range of professional education programs designed for acquiring new professions and improving qualifications in various industries. The portfolio includes vocational continuing education, professional development programs and non-formal education courses.

The centre organizes courses in occupational safety, electrical safety, fire safety, social care, logistics and other professional fields. In addition, it provides computer skills training, language courses, professional development programs for teachers and various specialized commercial training courses. Latgale Training Centre provides training opportunities for both employed and unemployed individuals, including voucher-based training programs implemented in cooperation with the State Employment Agency.

Over the years the organization has developed cooperation with various companies, government institutions and public organizations. Since 2005 the centre has participated in projects funded by the European Social Fund and other initiatives supporting the development of vocational education. The main goal of Latgale Training Centre is to support professional growth, development of new skills and improvement of competitiveness in the labour market.
